Knit-Rite, Inc. Receives ISO 13485:2003 Certification

KANSAS CITY, KS – September 28, 2012 – Knit-Rite, Inc., a worldwide leader in the Orthotics and Prosthetics, Compression Hosiery and general medical textile industries, recently received ISO 13485:2003 certification for both the company’s manufacturing facilities, located in Kansas City, KS, and Ellerbe, NC.

ISO 13485:2003 is the established quality standard for manufacturers of medical devices and has been established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is the largest developer and publisher of international standards for the implementation of Quality Management Systems.
