VARICOSE VEINS
AND HOW COMPRESSION CAN HELP
WHY YOU NEED COMPRESSION
Pain, Discomfort and Cosmetic Concern from Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are veins that have become enlarged and twisted. They are typically close to the skin’s surface and therefore visible on the skin. Commonly, people who have varicose veins prefer to treat them since they are cosmetically undesirable. However, varicose veins can be painful. They may cause feelings of burning, throbbing or cramping.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Varicose Vein Repair and Relief from Pain
Compression stockings help to press the veins encouraging better blood flow. In addition the increase in blood flow from compression will help to reduce the swelling that accompanies varicose veins, thus reducing pain. Increased blood flow to the legs from gradient compression can relieve the feeling of achiness, throbbing and cramps associated with varicose veins.
